Straight Drop Awnings have been designed to keep the sun out of your outdoor entertaining areas, including your verandah, deck and patio and can be used also to reduce sun through your windows

As with the majority of our awning designs, you can choose from either acrylic or canvas fabrics.  You can also have your awning manufactured with clear PVC plastic, allowing you to maintain your view but protect your home from the elements.

Your straight drop awning does not require posts or channels so it can be fastened at the base by using either straps or clips.  You do have the other option though of a steel cable that is attached in such a way the awning moves up and down the side of the cable which increases the operational effectiveness and strength of the design.  The other option is to install the straight drop awning with a channel rail system where the fabric moves up and down inside these channels which is a much neater system to operate.
