What is a shutter?

Shutters allow you to decide on whether you want privacy and security by keeping the slat louvres closed or to let light in when you open the slats on your windows or doors. Tilting the slats allows you to control the light and airflow through your room.

Shutters typically known as plantation shutters are available in composite, wood and recycled materials.

The most common colour for shutters installed today are white, and there are some other standard colour options available. They can also be custom painted or stained to suit your personal needs.

Shutters are an aesthetically pleasing and low maintenance window covering to offer excellent insulation properties, keeping you warm in winter and cooler in summer.

HBA shutters are manufactured in Australia and/or sourced from overseas.
